Mishti Doi

Mishti Doi is a traditional Bengali dessert made from fermented sweetened yogurt. It’s a beloved treat, especially popular during festivals and special occasions in Bengal. The dish is prepared by boiling milk, sweetening it with jaggery or sugar, and then allowing it to ferment overnight. The use of jaggery, particularly Nolen Gur (date palm jaggery), during winter adds a rich, caramel-like flavor, which is a signature of the dessert.

Mishti Doi is often served in earthen pots, whigh was the whole idea of this set, the red kurta with creamy yellow pants, making it apt for any festive gathering or  wedding festivities.
